ATHLETE SUMMARY:

Condition is right on and walking today glute lines are deep. When that left check has them dug out, I know it is game on. Came back to my body weight low of 206.0 fasted. So, I am bumping food up today with another 40g of carbs. Mentally I have so much more clarity with food higher and sleep also improved, so the combo has been amazing for brain function. I had some days just being brain dead. This past week I have fed closer to maintenance calories to hold this conditioning, but today my back looks flat and I can see it in the pics.

Diet is 300c/270p/20f for today. With linear loading of feeding into the show I just keep bringing carbs up daily based on visuals. This makes a much more predictable look than the back and front carb loads where you might spill over or under do the carb up. Also, much easier to manage fluids and digestion. As carbs come up fatigue is dropped, and training is further improved as well.

Training is being run the same split for now. Today is pull, then push, legs will be hit Sunday at 5 days out. Monday off day. Then fly out to Atlanta on Tuesday and train pull, push, and an upper session day prior to show. Last 3 training sessions volume is tapered and RIR is 2.

Cardio is going to hold fairly constant the entire week until 1 day out. 9k steps per day is not taxing at all and it keeps me moving between meals and digestion moving as well.

Fluids are at 2.25 gallons and salting all meals with 1/2 teaspoon salt. This will be held constant as well.

PEDs are not changing this go around, nothing getting dropped out. I am hard so no need to pull anything. I did a two-day run of Methasteron (Superdrol) 5mg 1 hour prior to training. Fullness was huge with this and got massive pumps, looked just has hard as well. A few points on Superdrol is that its basically a methylated Masteron but also highly liver toxic due to the saturation hydrogens on the carbon structure. It does NOT aromatize or interact with the estrogen, progesterone or glucocorticoid receptor. So, looking at primary action on the androgen receptor. I would guess the fullness has some aspect around increasing aldosterone as it is pretty renal toxic and blood pressure increase is common. Also, it likely is working well to increase glycogen and creatine stores as we see that “pump” aspect and strength component. I would for sure limit this application to just the last days prior to a show if you are skinned out. 5-10mg is way more than enough to see a response as well. So, I will likely implement this 3 days out and run 5mg daily.

My peak week in a nut shell. Get skinned out and then taper up carbs. Pretty simple and predictable, which is how I like it. I like the stage weight look at around 209-210ish, but we will see!
