ATHLETE SUMMARY:
Woke up just as hard today, but flatter in my back shot and weight dropped despite 40g carb increase, down to 205.4lbs. Had really good energy and I thought I moved around more, and training was a great session for pull yesterday. I think it’s something to keep in mind you feed someone more and weight drops. To think about how NEAT increase and spontaneous movements. Also, my mental clarity was much better yesterday too.
Diet is 350c/270p/20f for today. Carb additions are spread 10g over my first 5 meals of the day. Digestion has been stellar as well. Sticking to rice and oats as primary carb sources. I do have berries and pumpkin in there too. Man, despite this food increase today hunger was very high. Also, digestion is blazing and feel very empty and waist is small all day long, feels good though.
I trained push today and held my same volume level. Strength was not there, I decreased loading to stay within my target rep range and just made sure to keep effort high within those sets. I am just thinking that I might have to really push food high tomorrow for legs.
Cardio: treadmill 8% incline 2.8mph 20min AM fasted included within 9k step total.
Fluids are at 2.25 gallons and salting all meals with 1/2 teaspoon salt.
Sleep was a bit less last night too, which might contribute to how I felt a little more exhausted today. Been trying to get to bed earlier to have a closer resemblance to show day. I had some clients compete today which I can never sleep great when that happens, I get worried I won’t wake up for them.
