ATHLETE SUMMARY:

Today body weight took a slight bump back up from the 50g carb addition yesterday. However, back to 206.0, which is likely still close to a maintenance level now for me. I can estimate needs from the day prior, but still calorie needs are a moving target. I will react different each day being this close to the show, I might more, remove diet adaptations, and/or training different body parts expending less or more energy. Still very crispy, just will keep moving carbs up over the week to stay full. Since the show is early likely will eat over night to land closer to that stage weight I want upon waking.

Today is my last leg session and this day rotates to my quad emphasis day so I have a pendulum squat and Single leg press. Will go very low volume today and keep a couple reps in the tank. This day can inflame my legs for a few days, so will manage local fatigue with the pull back on set volume and effort. The session today went excellent strength was good and I felt like I could have progressed the logbook, but I trained reserved to not dig a hole. I went up to my same load that I used in the previous session and just cut off 2 reps to hit the target. For example, my pendulum squat I hit 180lbs x 13 reps last session, so hit 11 reps for this session. Left training with a decent pump and no injuries lol, which is always a win.

Being that it was leg day and waking up at 206, adding in 20g carbs today, almost 1/2 the addition from yesterday. Diet is 370c/270p/20f for today. Carb addition was added to pre and post meals.

Cardio: No incline treadmill today only 9k total step count.

Fluids are at 2.25 gallons and salting all meals with 1/2 teaspoon salt.
