ATHLETE/COACHING SUMMARY
EVALUATION OF PAST WEEK:
This past week I trialed adding in Aromasin 25mg for 3 days and low and behold weight pulled down and I got harder, which is what I saw looking back at my Indy Prep. So, with that in mind I am lowering test to just 100mg per week and leaving the Aromasin at 12.5mg ED. I should be able to pull the AI out once the esters trend down. I will pull labs next week to see where I am at for hormones and health markers.
I ended up hitting a weight low of 208.8lbs yesterday which was lower than my target for the week. Blood glucose dropped into the 70s as well showing positive signs for glucose uptake. My push day performance was down the day prior and with the weight drop, I added in a high day for my pull session. I added 150g carbs total, which gave me a good session and brought weight up to 210lbs today. I think a bit more detail and fullness in my back as well.
I pulled 40g carbs mid-week also, which of course impacted the weight drop, but will leave it out as I know I need to get down to that 204-205 mark to be inside out. So, right on track here.
PEDs:
Keep test at 100mg total per week and Aromasin at 12.5mg, test labs and adjust protocol. Adding in 60mg of Armor thyroid on top of the 25mcg of T3 as this was needed previous prep to keep me high normal (total: 34mcg T3, 38mcg T4). I am very tempted to add in Anavar with test lower and training taking a hit that one session but will see how the next few sessions go before doing so. It’s the O, so I am fine taking more risk, but also it has been a long prep and I have a hearty offseason in mind.
Nutrition:
Keep macros the same with the 40g carbs left out from the mid-week change.
Cardio/NEAT:
Increase in steps last week was minimally impactful and not driving any leg fatigue.
