ATHLETE SUMMARY:
PERSONAL THOUGHTS:
This week has been a solid week of training. I did have one leg session that I was training a bit too much off of emotion and chased the numbers too much. It drove my fatigue pretty high and I had more brain fog for several days. So, from here out I will log my RIR and pick my load and rep progressions before entering the gym. This will allow progress but give me hard stopping points as well.
I got my garage lighting complete and I messed around and took some progress pics in there today. The lighting is much better quality, so next update I will switch that over for you all.
Renee and I have been having to expand our cooking abilities this week as chicken was bought out of the store. With the snowstorm the grocery store didn’t get shipments and people were hoarding food. So, we ended up cooking Ahi Tuna, Mahi Mahi, a whole chicken and whole turkey. The variety actually made it feel like it wasn’t prep and was fun to try some other foods. Might keep those meats in rotation.
My mindset prepping is now looking like prepping myself like I am 8 weeks out and not 10 weeks out. Just to ensure I make the decision to get myself there early.
