PERSONAL THOUGHTS:

Overall this peak week went as well as it could have. I knew going into this week I was not at my best and need more conditioning. So, your ideal set up for peak week is coming in very lean as nothing is going to change you that drastically without rolling the dice. Regardless I am blessed to walk on to the Olympia stage and give it hell.

DAILY MONITORING

For peak week I like at pics every morning and post workout and then day prior to show and show day looks at pics 90 minutes after every meal. A lot of my manipulations are based around me making weight 1 day out.

NUTRITION

I ran my base plan for most of peak week until making weight. I hit a body weight low on weigh in day and looked really tight and drier. I think just fatigue finally was reduced and I shed some extra water. This allowed me to at least have one 50g carb meal in prior to weigh ins. Then after making weight I know I don’t need much to get full and I for sure wanted to lean on the side of not as full but dry. So, I carbed up with 250g and left fats at trace levels to keep digestion fast. I also pulled all veggies out on this day to keep my waist small as possible.
