ATHLETE SUMMARY:
PERSONAL THOUGHTS:
This past week I have been pushing hard as possible to bring glutes in and they are the last thing to come in. I have 7 days now, to get more lines and I think it’s do able. My caliper site is 7mm and 6mm on my glutes is where I know it will be ready. Just enjoying this part of prep and being thankful for the opportunity to get out there and compete.
DIET FEEDBACK:
Mid-week I pulled 100g of carbs out from the diet. I structures that pull when hunger is the lowest and I can manage it the post. So large pull was made post made post workout and with last meals as hunger is lower at that time. Digestion has still been the best of all preps without running in to constipation issues. I did add in 800mg of Magnesium Citrate at night to aid bowels, just the volume is lower with less food.
TRAINING FEEDBACK:
Strength hold pretty well here even with food and cardio changes. Main thing is the stamina set to set within the workout fades quick. So, I have kept workouts shorter and moving volume back even more to only a few sets per muscle group. Cardio is still not overly fatiguing, and I can manage the 15k steps well spreading them throughout the day. I also noticed a big boost in energy moving clenbuterol up to 80mcg per day. Sleep quality has stayed high I have been taking 2 Benedryl per night for a few weeks now, but adding in 5mg of Melatonin this week has made a large difference in sleep duration.
COACHING SUMMARY:
EVALUATION OF PAST WEEK:
Changing by the day and will keep pulling down weight to get to 209-210. Increased step count and carb pull is working very well and will hold constant.
CURRENT WEEK ACTION PLAN:
This week we enter into peak week and just judge progress by the day. Water and sodium will be kept constant initial and if we make manipulations it will be the day prior to the show. I won’t be able to load carbs until weight is made the day prior to the show.
