Traveled to Florida and saw my Aunt, Uncle and Cousin that I had not seen in about 14 years. Needless to see my bodybuilding was a bit of a culture shock and I think my Aunt was about done with my cooking in the kitchen the whole time lol. Really nice to be back home locked into my normal routine.
I had quite the push up in weight this week. Zero regrets here about it too. For one the mental break to enjoy some time with the family was great. But with this body weight increase I finally had 8.5 hours of sleep uninterrupted. Training performance has taken a large jump forward and feel “normal”. Last year I took so long to progress up in body weight and I ended up around the same conditioning level that is comfortable for me to sit at anyway. Might as well get there faster and into a productive offseason setting. Without a doubt I am softer, and this fat gain was needed.
Labs were pulled today and should have them maybe by the end of the week. Once I have labs checked off, then I will begin escalating PEDs. Likely will compete in the fall, so this gives 20-24 weeks of pushing. Easily time to add the stage weight and improvements I would like to display.
Plans for the week are to hold the diet the same, minus the untracked meals that were in place last week. Still one date night per week will be happening.
