ATHLETE SUMMARY:
Sleep improved but was still lower in quality. Even with more food yesterday I dropped back to 205.4lbs. Which is fine as I feel fresher and less fatigue overall. I know off yesterday the food amount to get me back up to 208-210lbs and full for stage is after 2-3 meals. So, plan was to start on the same diet as yesterday.
After meal 2 I was up to 209lbs and trained a practice backstage pump up, which within 10 minutes I could get a solid pump. This was after 160g carbs and ¾ gallon of water.
Continuing through the day I had several bowel movements, and my waist was getting smaller and smaller. I did make the decision today to remove most fiber sources. Veggies, pumpkin and most oats were removed. I stuck with rice, whey, cream of rice, and chicken. I noticed my body weight was not going up as high but still getting full. I think this is good to note as your predictive weight might be lower once fiber is removed and bowels are empty. I ended up going to bed at 208.4, which are the pics you see above. Pretty full and hard, but the previous night I was 211lbs, so I was expecting to hit a body weight low on show day. I did end up adding in an additional 40g of carbs to my meal 5 not seeing body weight move up as much.
Steps were lowered today as well and more just what I got through walking to tanning and once to CVS. I ended up with 6000 steps.
Fluids stayed at 2.25 gallons and salting all meals with 1/2 teaspoon salt.
